In a country like DR Congo, there are many opportunities for international and local organisations to fund humanitarian and development projects.

Representatives of most donors are present in Kinshasa as well as in eastern DR Congo. They are as interested in working with local organisations as with international organisations. It all depends on the objectives they have set themselves and the context of the situation.

However, it is difficult to find one's way through this large number of donors, each of them having their own way of operating. That's why this fundraising training will focus on matching your organisation with relevant funders. Next, it is important to know how to approach funders and develop a relationship, as otherwise you risk closing the door from the start.

Our training team members are Bernard Van den Abeele and Elizabeth Monzili
