Olivier Kroemmer

After gaining more than 10 years of experience in financial management of non-profit organisations. and realising the importance of good management to organisations' delivery quality, I co-founded Axyom in 2009. .

Since then, I have been managing and developing all administrative and financial management support activities for our partners.

I am passionate about development and carry out numerous missions in Africa each year to support our partners.

I like to spend my free time with my family, and particularly enjoy taking nature hikes.

Bernard Van den Abeele

With my passion for international relations and preference for Central Africa, it was only natural that I should become involved in founding Axyom, an agency specialising in capacity building in the management of organisations active in development and humanitarian work.

During the first 10 years of my career in the sector, I strengthened my expertise in programme/project/organisational management on-site in the field, mainly in DR Congo, and from Brussels, with various NGOs. Since the foundation of Axyom in 2009, I have specialised in institutional development and organisational strengthening with a particular focus on fundraising. .

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the Alps, mountain biking in the Belgian Ardennes and… partying! My motto: "Take your work very seriously without taking yourself too seriously".

I joined Axyom in 2016 to support various organisations in their financial management. In addition to my regular support missions, I particularly enjoy providing training in the use of accounting and management software such as Winbooks.

As a certified expert accountant, I chose to work with NGOs to contribute to the development of disadvantaged people in my country.

After more than 15 years of experience as financial and administrative director for the Congolese representation of international NGOs, I decided to join Axyom to support and train these partner organisations. My mission is to support our partners in financial management, human resources management, administration and taxation.

Next to my job, I like to travel and spend my free time with my family.

Joseph Kasongo

I hold a PhD in Project and Financial Management and I am passionate about the professionalisation of profit and non-profit organisations. For more than 26 years, I have been working with NGOs and non-profit organisations in DR Congo and other Central African countries.

The experience I have acquired has been enriching because it frequently leads to the formalisation of more intuitive and innovative procedures and tools for organisational management practices. I see financial management as a major planning and decision-making tool.

I like analysing risks and questioning the obvious in order to identify new options. Don't we say: "practice has theories that science does not know”?

Next to my work, I like to play football and chess.

Charlotte Van der Haert

After having managed projects and organisations in various associations and NGOs for several years, I wanted to put my expertise and know-how at the service of organisations.

To me, joining Axyom was the best solution! With a coaching approach, I now accompany and work alongside organisations to strengthen them and enable them to deploy their expertise for the benefit of their missions.

I work mainly in the fields of project management and development (in compliance with donor regulations...) and strategic and operational development of organisations.

I have a passion for travelling, meeting people, reading, tennis and yoga.
